Garden of War – Fine Art Print by DATKID
Garden of War presents a haunting contradiction — a soldier whose body no longer belongs to war, but to nature. From his eyes, mouth, ears, and even his uniform, flowers erupt violently into bloom. What once represented discipline and destruction becomes soil for something fragile, strange, and unsettlingly alive.
The cigarette burns quietly as the transformation spreads, suggesting the slow erosion of identity under the weight of conflict. Beauty grows where violence once lived, blurring the line between decay and rebirth.
Painted with thick textures and raw emotion, the piece explores the aftermath of war — how it plants invisible seeds that continue to grow long after the battlefield disappears.
