Title: “Marge”
Description:
A graffiti-infused reimagination of an iconic character, Marge distorts the familiar into a raw, street-art masterpiece. The signature towering blue hair takes center stage, exaggerated in scale and fluid in form, giving the piece an almost surreal, melting effect.
With bulging, wide-set eyes and stretched features, this piece flips nostalgia into something fresh, edgy, and rebellious. The spray-painted, airbrushed texture gives it a hazy, dreamlike quality—like a vision pulled straight from the underground art scene. The bold contrast between electric blue and deep yellow demands attention, while DATKID’s graffiti-style signature cements its place as an unapologetic street statement.
More than a pop-culture remix, Marge represents art’s power to distort, exaggerate, and redefine the icons we know—turning them into something entirely new.
About the Artist
DATKID is an emerging artist from Seattle who found his voice through graffiti and street art. After joining the military post-COVID, his journey took him to the United Kingdom, where he fell in love with the vibrant street art scene. Inspired by the raw energy of urban culture, rebellion, and storytelling, he began merging his natural artistic talent with the gritty, unfiltered aesthetic of graffiti.
From hand-painted canvases and skate decks to custom accessories, DATKID transforms everyday surfaces into bold, expressive pieces. His work blends pop culture, street energy, and personal experiences, creating art that speaks to the movement of the city and the voices behind it.
